Tarantula X6 Design
The design of the Tarantula X6 tries to copy a spider and as far as color goes, the drone is available in blue and black. The drone weighs in at 1282 grams and it is one of the heavier drones on the market.
The Tarantula X6 is equipped with 7 LED lights for better orientation, especially during night flights. Two LED lights are on front of the cockpit to consolidate the spider look, one on the top of the drone and one under each arm.

Tarantula X6 Battery
The Tarantula X6 is powered by a nice 7.4V 1200MAH Li-Po battery and has a flight time of about 8 minutes. This drone is equipped with an above-average sized battery to power its flight, compared to the average of 650 mAh. The battery takes about 90 minutes to completely charge. With this battery, the Tarantula X6 will have enough power for stable flights even in windy days.

It is important to note that some users have installed a higher capacity 2200mAh LI-PO battery and got about 15 minutes of continuous flight. This is great for such an inexpensive drone. However, the flight time will decrease if you add additional weight.
The only problem is that you have to actually remove the battery after every flight because there is no on and off button. This means that the lights will continue to flicker if you keep the battery on.
Tarantula X6 Camera
The Tarantula X6 does not come with a built-in camera. However, the drone is compatible with external cameras that can easily attach to the drone. The drone can be equipped with the 60 fps 720p HD camera or the wide-angle 30 fps 1080p Full HD camera. You can also use a higher quality camera like a GoPro, Mobius or a Xiaomi yi camera. Tarantula X6 Controller
The transmitter is made from some cheap looking but surprisingly durable plastic. The transmitter looks cheap and very small compared to the drone’s size. The 2.4GHz technology is adopted for anti-interference. This means that many drones can fly at the same time and do not interfere with each other.
The sticks have a nice grip overall and the controls feel pretty good. However, some users have reported that the top buttons are a little harder to use when flying. These buttons are responsible for changing the flight mode (left) and performing flips (right).
